In 2020 Port Adelaide Football Club, one of the oldest and most successful league clubs in history, celebrated its 150th anniversary. This documentary was intended to mark the celebrations and look at the relationship between the club and the broader community. But then COVID came along and looked as if it would derail the project. Greg speaks to Nicole about the origins of the film, working with producer and mentor Justin Kurzel, and the decision to shoot the film in black and white.
