Titanic The Musical was written by Maury Yeston and Peter Stone, and was first staged on Broadway in 1997, coincidentally the same year that James Cameron released his epic Oscar winning film Titanic. The musical won 5 Tony Awards including Best Musical, and has been performed in over 40 countries since then. This production stars Anthony Warlow, features a live orchestra, and will be performed at Melbourne Town Hall for 4 performances only beginning on November 4. Greg chatted with the producer Paul Marrallo to find out how you go about making a musical based on this tragedy in which some 1500 people perished.
