The Green Prince is a fascinating documentary about a young Palestinian, the son of one of the leaders of Hammas, who became a spy for the Israeli security forces. The film, which unfolds like a thriller, tells of the unlikely friendship that developed between spy and spy master. The film won the audience prize at Sundance earlier this year, and it has also screened here in Australia as part of the Jewish International Film Festival. The Green Prince hits cinemas on December 4.
To learn more about this remarkable true story, Greg spoke to the director Nadav Schirman about the film.
