Stephan Elliott’s latest film Swinging Safari is a wild autobiographical coming of age tale that looks at the changing nature of Australia in the 70s with the sexual revolution and American culture becoming more prevalent. It stars Guy Pearce, Kylie Minogue, Julian McMahon, Jeremy Simms, Asher Keddie and Radha Mitchell. Stephan’s films have always “ruffled a few feathers” and this is no exception. Greg sat down with Stephan for a chat about the film and putting his own experiences on the screen, about the casting and about capturing the 70s.
