The South African Film Festival runs from May 12- 24, and following last year’s experience, when COVID forced most film festivals to go on line, this year the festival is offering a combination of on-line viewing options as well as in cinema experiences. This year the festival is also going to screen in New Zealand. The festival will screen 9 documentaries, 5 features and a couple of short filsm that explore a diverse range of themes including the struggle for democracy, racial equality, culture and tradition, and the post-Apartheid struggle. Greg chatted to festival organiser Marc Radomsky to learn about some of the highlights screening in the festival.
