Seven years ago, Melbourne writers Penelope Chai and Jane Dickerson began a bartering project called Clothing For Correspondence in which they offered their services as letter writers for people who were struggling to put pen to paper to express their complaints, their confessions, etc. In exchange they asked for an item of preloved clothing. From this humble idea the two then developed the five part web series Other People’s Problems, which is now available for viewing. Greg spoke to Penelope and Jane to find out more about this intriguing project, working with the legendary Sue Maslin, and the challenges in putting together the web series.
