The new Australian feature film Moon Rock For Monday is a coming-of- age drama combined with the tropes of the road movie genre. It tells of Monday, a 12-year-old girl diagnosed with a terminal illness, who inadvertently embarks on a road trip with Trevor, a criminal on the run from the law. This is the first feature film for writer/director Kurt Martin and he talk to Greg about writing the script, creating the characters, working with a couple of first time feature film actors, and shooting on remote locations in Coober Pedy.
