Me And My Left Brain is a throwback to a different era, a charmingboy-meets-girl story with a bit of an unusual twist. Arthur (Alex Lykos) is in love with Helen (Chantelle Barry). He seeks advice from his best friend Vivien (Rachael Beck) but is constantly hounded by a voice in his head – his left brain (Malcolm Kennard). The film is an adaptation of Lykos’ stage play The Last Night. Greg spoke to Alex about the process of adapting the play for the screen, casting decisions and the decision to distribute the film independently himself.
