This year the Jewish International Film Festival serves up a selection of 55 premiere films from 20 countries, which explore the challenges accompanying change. As usual there is a balance between documentaries and fictional features, as well as a curated selection of short films. The festival premiers two new Australian films. The opening night film is the biopic Simone Veil, A Woman Of The Century from director Olivier Dahan, and closing the festival is the first two episodes of highly anticipated new television series The Beauty Queen Of Jerusalem. Greg chats with the festival’s artistic director Eddie Tamir to find out more about this year’s exciting line up of films. The festival screens in from March 2 through until April 3 in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Canberra and the Gold Coast
