Like so many other film festivals in 2020 the Japanese Film Festival will be going digital with on-line screenings. There is a wide variety of genres in the main program, plus a series of classic Japanese films from the 60s and 70s under the tag of “Provocation and Disruption”, which seems apt for this year. Greg speaks to the festival’s artistic director Susan Bui to find out more.
