Time magazine dubbed Parker Posey “the queen of the indies”, while the New Yorker named her “the greatest character actress of the last few decades.” From March 13 to March 28, ACMI are holding a series of retrospective screenings under the banner of In Praise Of Parker Posey. ACMI will be screening ten of her films as part of the restrospective, from 1995’s Dazed And Confused directed by Richard Linklater through to 2015’s Irrational Man, directed by Woody Allen. As well ACMI will be holding a special event panel discussion Talking TV: Parker Posey On The Small Screen on March 17. Greg spoke to ACMI curator Roberta Ciabarra to find out more.
