HEAD SOUTH – interview with JONATHAN OGILVIE by GREG KING

Head South is a coming-of-age story set in Christchurch in 1979. It stars Ed Oxenbould (from Paper Planes, etc) as Angus, a 17-year-old boy whose world is changed when he is introduced to the punk music scene. Head South is based on writer/director Jonathan Ogilvie’s own experiences. Greg chats with Jonathan about the genesis of the film, casting choices and the importance of music in his own life. Jonathan is conducting a series of Q&A screenings in support of the film.
