CLOUDY SUNDAYNow in its 23rd year, the Greek Film Festival screens at Palace cinemas throughout Australia in October. The opening night film is World’s Away. This year the festival includes a spotlight on director Yorgos Lanthimos (Dogtooth, etc), and five classic comedies starring the late Thanasis Veggos, Greece’s greatest comic actor who appeared in over 50 films. There are feature films and shorts packages as well. Greg spoke to festival director Penny Kyprianou to learn more about this year’s program.
