Foe – Interview with GARTH DAVIS by GREG KING
Foe is a haunting examination of marriage and identity set in an uncertain world in the not too distant future. Based on the novel written by Iain Reid, the film stars Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal as a married couple living on a farm in America’s midwest when the arrival of a stranger (played by Aaron Pierre) arrival throws their lives into turmoil. The film has been directed by Garth Davis (best known for his award-winning film Lion) who chats with Greg about the film itself, the process of adapting Reid’s novel, casting and creating this dystopian world.
