The British Film Festival 2017 screens at Palace Cinemas from October 24. The opening night film is Breathe, the directorial debut from actor Andy Serkis, and this inspiring true story stars Andrew Garfield and Claire Foye. The closing night film is the feel good Finding Your Feet. This year’s retrospective screenings feature four star studded adaptations of classic Agatha Christie mysteries, including Murder On The Orient Express, Death On The Nile, Evil Under The Sun, and The Mirror Crack’d, featuring Angela Lansbury as Miss Marple. There are also restored prints of 60s classics Blow Up and Victim. Greg spoke to festival artistic director Kim Petalas to find out more.
