BANK OF DAVE – interview with Dave Fishwick
Bank Of Dave is a feelgood variation on the classic David vs Goliath underdog story. The film centres on Dave Fishwick, a businessman in the town of Burnley who wanted to open his own high street bank, but had to contend with the underhanded tactics of the major financial institutions of Britain as they tried to stop him establishing the first new bank in 150 years. The film stars Rory Kinnear as Dave. Greg chatted with Dave to find out more about the making of the film and tries to separate the facts from the fiction. Bank Of Dave opens in cinemas on June 1.
