BAM BAM is a revealing documentary that follows Bianca Elmir, a Muslim female boxer in the lead up to the World Championships in 2016. It charts her successes and her set-backs as well as exploring how she is caught between two worlds and cultures. The film screens on July 14 at Backlot as part of the 2018 Melbourne Documentary Film Festival. Greg spoke to director Jemma Van Loenen to find out more ab out Bianca and the film itself.
