The 2017 Lavazza Italian Film Festival screens at Palace Cinemas around the country from September 12. The opening night film is the comedy Let Yourself Go!, while the closing night film this year is Roberto Benigni’s Oscar winning Life Is Beautiful. Screening during the festival is a range of contemporary comedies and dramas and award-winning films. This year the festival has a critics’ prize, and six films are in competition. Greg speaks to festival director Elyssia Zeccola-Hill to find out more about what is on offer during the festival this year.
