Rites Of Passage is a bold new feature length drama featuring six interwoven stories made collaboratively with young people who draw upon their own experiences to shape the stories. It is an example of “community filmmaking” made by non professionals. Like an adolescent version of the Dogma movement, ten principles governed the making of the film.
Rites Of Passage will screen on ABC1 on Sunday June 28.
Greg spoke to Daniel De Felippo about the making of this movie.
